We are seeking a passionate and motivated Lecturer in Mathematics to join our dynamic academic team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality teaching across Mathematics modules within Engineering and Computing programmes, supporting students to achieve their full potential.
About the Role
You will design and deliver engaging teaching sessions (lectures, seminars, tutorials) while creating innovative learning materials that enhance the student experience. Alongside teaching, you will act as a Personal Academic Tutor, supporting students throughout their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Mathematics modules
- Develop and maintain engaging learning materials and online resources
- Set, mark, and provide timely feedback on assessments
- Monitor student engagement, attendance, and performance
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Contribute to quality assurance, programme development, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
You will bring:
- A Master’s degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computing or related field)
- Experience in higher education teaching and student engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using digital tools (e.g. VLEs, MS Teams)
- A proactive, flexible, and student-focused approach
Desirable:
- PhD (or working towards)
- HEA Fellowship (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in research or scholarly activity

Working Hours & Flexibility
- 40 hours per week (schedule may include evenings and weekends)
- Must be flexible to travel between our London base campuses.
